Stay Strong, UAE: How Co Chocolat is Keeping Sweet Moments Alive in the UAE

There’s something about chocolate that brings people together. And in the UAE, Co Chocolat has turned that simple joy into a full experience.
This homegrown brand is crafting single-origin chocolate right here in Dubai, while also sharing a deeper story behind every bite. As part of our “Stay Strong, UAE” series, we’re highlighting partners like Co Chocolat who continue to create meaningful experiences, even in challenging times.
They remain fully operational, welcoming guests into their factory for something that goes far beyond a typical workshop.
About the Experience
Co Chocolat offers a unique farm-to-table chocolate journey that you don’t often find in the UAE.
Guests explore the chocolate-making process inside an open kitchen, starting from cacao sourced through their own agri-social enterprise in the Philippines. One of the standout moments is tasting fresh cacao fruit during the pod tour, something rarely available in the region.
The experience includes:
A guided factory tour
Fresh cacao tasting
A hands-on chocolate-making workshop
Creating your own chocolate and packaging
It’s interactive, creative, and perfect for anyone curious about food, not just kids.

Why People Love It
It’s hands-on and engaging from start to finish
You learn something new in a fun, relaxed way
Warm hospitality makes guests feel instantly welcome
Many visitors return or recommend it to others
Adapting to the Current Situation
Like many businesses, Co Chocolat has been affected by supply challenges. With cacao and some materials sourced internationally, supply chains have become more challenging. On top of that, there has been a noticeable decline in corporate gifting and events, which used to be a significant part of their business.
Instead of slowing down, they shifted focus towards experiences. They increased the time slots and are offering new workshops.
Staying Strong
Co Chocolat recently introduced an Adapt-to-Conflict Plan focused on both managing costs and finding new ways to grow. This includes exploring new revenue streams like white labelling, making the most of their HACCP-approved factory.
“We are looking at accepting more white labelling projects while we await for business to return to normal. We are going to think as we did when we were very new – we will be more flexible and be agile” Co Chocolat
