Do you need a dancing background?
First of all, I must say that I do not have a great dance background. I can even say that I do not have any dance background except for one dance course I attended with my husband to prepare for our wedding dance. :) If you would ask me about my sense of rhythm, unfortunately, I was not gifted. This may be the reason why I and my dancing partner were a bit nervous before testing this experience. Thoughts such as “I can't” or “I shouldn’t" ran through my head. Anyway, after booking our class in advance, we found ourselves at the door of the dance studio one day.
Entering the Dance Studio
All my nervousness and discomfort were forgotten when we entered the Dance Studio. We were warmly welcomed by the smiling team and we found ourselves in a very welcoming and warm space of the reception area. The team of professionals made us feel very comfortable. We were seated in a waiting area and waited for the previous class to finish. Our mood suddenly brightened due to the beautiful energy and the environment.
Show time - the Dance Class
Once the previous class finished it was our show time. Our class started by meeting with the dance teacher. He politely introduced himself and explained what was next. Since we selected our dance style prior to the class (Waltz), we more or less knew what we will be learning/dancing. The teacher adjusted the music and started teaching us the steps in a very easy way just like a toddler who is learning his first steps.
The beginning was a bit overwhelming due to our lack of dancing knowledge and we were afraid we will only learn a few steps by the end of the class. However, at the end of the class, all of our baby steps came together and we found ourselves dancing to the rhythm of the music.
Overall Feelings from the Dance Class
We not only learned something new but we also enjoyed the class very much and we caught each other smiling all the time. :) We can't praise our teacher enough. He patiently guided our steps during the whole class, he tirelessly kept correcting our mistakes. He was very understanding and smiling all the time and we did not feel nervous at any moment of the class. And all of our worries before we came to the studio disappeared thanks to our dance teacher.
To summarize shortly, this is definitely an awesome gift for yourself and for your loved ones. Be sure that even the first steps you take will make you happy and at the end of the day, you will be one step closer to being the sought-after face of the dance floors. :)
