Job Purpose

As the E-commerce Operation Manager at Ithara, you're the ultimate multitasker, handling both the behind-the-scenes wizardry and the customer-facing magic. Our grand mission is to craft a platform that customers can't resist, especially when they're on the hunt for memorable gifts. In this role, you'll be the mastermind behind operational systems, lead the Customer Happiness Team in delivering top-tier service, and manage various aspects of our vibrant business, including website management, finances, partnerships, and more. You will grow as we grow, learn new things and enjoy exciting experiences on the go.

Key Responsibilities

Crafting Amazing Customer Experience:

  • Lead the Customer Happiness Team (CHT) to create unforgettable experiences for our customers.

  • Ensure our customers book their adventures seamlessly and on time.

  • Tackle customer issues while staying true to our company values.

  • Implement our VIP Benefits Program to keep our customers coming back for more.

  • Gather and assess customer feedback to fuel constant improvements.

 

Fostering Partnerships:

  • Bring new partners on board and showcase their offerings on our website.

  • Keep the conversation going with our partners, addressing concerns and changes.

  • Size up partner quality through site visits and monthly reporting.

  • Make sure our partners receive their payments promptly.

 

Operational Excellence:

  • Collaborate with a content writer to keep our website product listings fresh.

  • Generate basic reports to keep us on the right track.

  • Innovate our systems and processes to keep things running like clockwork.

  • Keep a watchful eye on our inventory.

 

Business Growth:

  • Handle B2B orders and explore exciting business opportunities.

  • Dive into B2B events, networking, and forging valuable connections.

 

Skills

The must-haves:

  • You're all about customers and are super organized, proactive, and independent, striving for excellence.

  • Your track record proves that you're a pro at making customers smile.

  • You can grab a phone and get valuable feedback from customers with ease.

  • You're enthusiastic about exciting experiences and live for adventure.

  • Tech doesn't scare you; you can master new systems in no time.

  • Building systems, driving improvements, and mentoring your team are your specialties.

  • Your English is impeccable, both written and spoken.

 

The great-to-haves:

  • Experience with B2B and B2C customers is a plus.

  • An e-commerce background is always welcome.

  • You've got what it takes to build and lead a great team.

  • Basic report creation and analysis are in your wheelhouse.

 

The nice-to-haves:

  • NPS measurements are your thing.

  • You're handy with tools like Notion, Google Sheets, CRM, and Canva.

  • UAE's experiences and gifting market are no mystery to you.
